We believe that in order to make the citizens of this great city feel connected to and be proud of such an Entertainment Landmark in their community, that they should have a chance to share in its creation. The Boards of Education in Hamilton (both the Public and Catholic) have a unique opportunity to allow the children of our community to be a part of this incredible project’s development. Our idea is to have school children take part in the creation of the new hallway floor for this complex, (Treasure Way) inside Copps Coliseum. The design for the floor is to have an entire walkway of coins. Elementary school children from various classrooms throughout the city would engage in a simple task, whereby each child would take the coins provided for them and arrange them onto one tile. That tile would then be placed along with the other children’s tiles on this enormous floor area.  This type of participation will allow our children to be proud of their contribution and make them feel a part of something that will forever link them to the future of Entertainment in the City of Hamilton.
