CITY OF HAMILTON

The creation of this entertainment conglomerate in the heart of the downtown core would have to include the participation of The City of Hamilton.  The City has been trying to resurrect itself over the last few years and there is so much potential with this proposal to take its development to a new level. The City’s involvement in such a project would be crucial for many reasons. The most pressing of these would have to include the City’s recognition of what value such an entertainment complex could be to its identity, its people and its future as a flourishing and competitive entity. The City’s involvement would be beneficial on many levels, including the assistance it could provide, in terms of the necessary funding and / or development that it will take to get this project off the ground, as well as its cooperation in helping to promote Hamilton as an emerging force in the Entertainment Industry.

MUNICIPAL SUPPORT

The City has been trying to resurrect itself over the last few years and there is so much potential with this proposal to take its development to a new level. Every city is defined primarily by its people and what it has to offer. How exciting and energizing could this project be to the citizens of this community? If we can’t already take a hint from Hollywood itself and their perception of Hamilton as a great place to shoot, then I don’t know what it would take to see it. We are so much more convenient and accessible than Toronto could ever be and it would be a mistake to wait on someone else to make their move on this city. It is only a matter of time and the City should realize that they have a chance to take this opportunity and develop it in their own unique way, with their own people. We believe that we are the right people because we care about tying our identity and its people to the project. We care about highlighting Hamilton, more so than any outsider would and we have a plan with a vision that is thought out, full of passion and determination, with a growing number of talented individuals right from our own backyard. The City of Hamilton would be remiss in overlooking our proposal to bring this vision to life. It is our hope that the City will see what we see and assist us with the funding and development to reach a great dream that would put Hamilton on the Entertainment map like it has never been before.
